realer than clouds in the sky realer than alcohol's high realer than life passing by I want you to care about something you feel maybe I'll tear out your heart just to give you a part or maybe I'll fart sometimes I want to shock you rip at your senses break down your defenses to know who you are not a pie in the sky dream but what do you find when you challenge your mind (do you go that far?) I want you to question (and answer) your prayers to take charge of your life to take responsibility for yourself I want you to challenge your core beliefs and how you abide them and how you ignore them what's on your shelf? sometimes I want to rock you give comfort a pause sometimes I want to inspect all that ever was for the truth is out there and what do you find when you challenge your mind to Heaven or Oz what if everything you've ever believed to be true about the things you can't explain turned out wrong? would you hide your head in shame or take arms to fight or would you be able to learn another song? how far would you go to feel you belong?
